Even minor cases can wreck careers, reputations, and families. At MSC law, we handle every case with the same dedication to quality and hard work.

Student & Juvenile Defense

Protect your student’s future

Maritza knows the law, the system, and how to keep a mistake from becoming your child's lifetime consequence.

A criminal charge can follow a student long after graduation, costing careers, licenses, scholarships, and athletic eligibility. Texas law allows second chances — but your attorney must understand how to make that happen. Maritza’s experience as an Aggie, mother, and former juvenile prosecutor makes her the advocate your student needs.

Probation Violations

Missed a step? That doesn’t mean you belong in a cell.
When probation gets complicated, we work to keep clients out of custody and fix the problems without wrecking their record.

Expunctions & Non-Disclosure

Your past doesn’t have to follow you forever.
We help clients clear their record, seal arrests, and move forward without old mistakes dragging them down.

Assault / Family Violence

One allegation can ruin your name — unless someone fights for it.
We take on assault, family violence, and protective order cases where reputations and futures are on the line. We work with a focus on the law and truth. We demand justice when those who are wrongly accused face false allegations. At MSC law, we don’t allow prosecutors' emotion-driven accusations or faulty investigations remain unchecked.

Appeals

Bad verdicts aren’t the end of the road.

As a former prosecutor assigned to the Appeals Division of the Brazos County District Attorney’s Office, Maritza knows exactly how prosecutors defend convictions and where their arguments fall apart.

But appellate strategy doesn’t start after a verdict. It starts in the courtroom. As a prosecutor and public defender, she practiced finding quick and accurate legal solutions that had significant implications for the case. She now brings this experience to you. The right case or objection can impact your case-it can exclude illegal evidence, enforce your rights, and preserve legal issues.

DWI Defense

Experience Matters

When you’re charged with DWI, experience isn’t optional — it’s everything.

Maritza is Board Certified in Criminal Law and a member of the National College for DUI Defense. As a former prosecutor, she was trained by some of the most respected experts and trial attorneys in the State of Texas. She knows precisely how these cases are built — and exactly where they fall apart.

Maritza's exceptional experience with intoxicated related offenses is the result of hard work and constant learning during her time as a prosecutor and defense attorney. She understands the technical, procedural, and legal complexities that often determine the outcome of a DWI case.
